What you'll need ;
- Plastic Easter eggs
- string
First we measured the mantel and cut the string in the appropriate place.
We started putting the string into the eggs, while doing this I would ask him what color was next.
Again fine motor skills used here as we try to place a string through a little hole.
This didn't hold his attention long.

After he ran off I tried to finish
but then I let go of the whole thing and it went everywhere. These are also pictures, courtesy of Josiah.
This was a #DIYFAIL
Neither Josiah or I have the patience to try this again. LOL Maybe next year!
